TDOers, You Were Lied To

Yehuda Isseroff

In this lecture, we will explore our approach to saving compromised teeth through the lens of the endo-restorative relationship. We will highlight ideal techniques, materials, and workflows—many of which are new or differ from what endodontists typically encounter. The lecture will showcase various clinical scenarios, including documentation and long-term follow-up. Emphasis will be placed on managing these cases in a quality-oriented, fee-for-service environment.

Topics covered will include large endodontic infections, traumatized teeth, retreatment, deep margin elevation, anterior esthetics, post and core build-ups, maintaining gingival health, class II restorations, and crown and bridge fabrication. We will also touch on considerations for replacing teeth with dental implants.

Finally, we will discuss key elements of a successful endodontist-restorative dentist relationship.
