Dr. Scott Bentkover is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Dr. Bentkover has been using the dental operating microscope in clinical practice since 1991 and has lectured extensively worldwide on its applications. He has personally mentored thousands of endodontists on the microscope, particularly in the areas of clinical photography and documentation.
He is co-author of the “Endodontic Surgery” chapter in the Seventh Edition of Pathways of the Pulp and the sole author of two chapters in Best Practices in Endodontics: A Desk Reference: “Setting Up Your Dental Operating Microscope for Photography” and “Setting Up Your Dental Operating Microscope for Videography.” Most recently, he authored “The Art and Science of Documentation” in Team Microscope Endodontics: Carr’s Guidelines to Best Practice.
In his free time, Dr. Bentkover enjoys quality time with his wife, Diana, and keeps busy with hobbies like photography, music, restoring vintage Volkswagens, and of course brewing his own craft beer.
